They provide customers with their basic everyday and household needs, supplemented with a variety of general merchandise items, at everyday low prices (most items are priced at $10 or less, with approximately 25% at $1 or less) in conveniently located, small-box stores (11,879 stores located in 43 U.S. states as of February 27, 2015). Merchandise is separated into four categories: consumables (75.7% of 2014 net sales); seasonal (12.4%); home products (6.4%) and apparel (5.5%).
